An academic course dealing with the diverse aspects of the Israeli society, this two-week course is held totally outside the campus. Other than introductory lectures and the summary, the students visit various communities, where they learn first-hand about the Israeli society.

The course offers 3 credit points for an academic degree and has been held through the Hebrew University of Jerusalem for three years. It is intended for foreign students who come to Israel as part of Taglit-Birthright and is run together with Shorashim. The plan is to extend the program to additional populations and academic institutions.
